Keep more
of what
you earn.
Tax preparation and year-round planning for business owners, equity-comp earners, and real estate investors, delivered with the care of a firm that knows your name.
The same person, every year.

The right tax firm doesn't take your information, file your return, and say "see you next year." The right tax firm is deliberate in educating you on where the numbers come from and how to mitigate your liability going forward.
We gladly forsake the better margins of high-volume, cheaply prepared returns if it means we can continually help awesome people reduce their tax burden, year after year.

How much does tax preparation cost?
Fees depend on the complexity of your return. We factor in the number of states, business entities, rental properties, and equity compensation events. Most individual returns fall in a narrow range, and we quote a price range before any work begins so there are no surprises. The fastest way to get an exact number is a short intro call.
Do you charge a flat fee or by the hour?
Tax preparation is billed dependent on the complexity of the return, agreed up front. Tax planning and IRS representation work that requires ongoing strategy are typically year-round, flat-fee engagements. We are not in the business of sending surprise invoices.
How do your fees compare to other tax preparers in the Mapleton area?
The 2025 NATP fee study puts the national average for a base Form 1040 at $228 with an enrolled agent and $280 with a CPA, and our pricing sits in line with those benchmarks for comparable work. The difference is the quote: in writing, itemized by form, before any work begins, so you can compare it line for line against any other office in Utah County.
Do I need a specialized tax preparer if I own rental properties in Utah County?
It depends on three things: income, rental type, and timing. Once modified AGI passes $100,000, the $25,000 rental loss allowance under §469(i) starts phasing out and planning starts to matter. Short-term rentals with average stays of 7 days or less, and any year you buy or sell, are specialist territory. A single long-term rental below those lines is well within a careful generalist's range.
